The father of American mixology, Jeremiah “Jerry” P. Thomas earned his title on account of his personal trailblazing during the Gold Rush of the mid-19th century in America. A fan of what he called, “social drinks,” “Professor” Jerry Thomas pioneered the popularity of cocktails, establishing the image of the bartender as a creative professional. The Prohibition era that followed, in the 1920’s and 30’s, brought an insurgence of speakeasies -- or secret drinking establishments -- six for every one legal saloon before the alcohol ban. The mystery and allure of a speakeasy has since inspired many a modern-day New York locale, whomaintain Thomas’ art of custom craft cocktails combined with elaborate showmanship and immaculate presentation. Bar Maestros follows suit, combining quality with creative flexibility and innovation.

Our Bar Maestros live and work by Jerry Thomas’ code that, “no excellent drink can be made out of anything but excellent materials,” and are embodiments -- in the truest sense-- of modern-day bon vivants.

Our non-alcoholic service provision respects and honors the cultural sensitivity required to ensure a bar set-up organized with precision and care in staff presentation.
